Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, but let me assure you, Jesus is wonderful and is beautifying all that come into His glory and presence, no matter what state we are in.
A friend of mine who has returned from the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding California was visiting home this summer and wanted to hang out for a bit. So we arranged to do breakfast one morning and towards the end of our time, he looked at our waitress and asked me who she was. I knew her due to the fact I was a local customer so I told him. As we were paying for our breakfast, my friend Matt and I started to drop words of knowledge on her and she started to break down and stated of feeling Goosebumps all over her body which was the tangible presence of Jesus. She was in tears as we spoke hope and released the Fathers love over her. She walked away with knowing that our Father called her His own.
Later on that week I was hanging out over at my girlfriends house and had received a text from a friend of mine in St. Stephen asking for prayer for her lungs and back. My girlfriend and I watched while over the text messages my friends lungs and back got totally healed and she stated of feeling the fire of Heaven fall on her. This is over text messages, no laying on of hands and to be honest I really didn’t pray for, we just need to speak life over each other!
While attending some services with a guest speaker at my home Church in St. John New Brunswick, I was on the ministry team for prayer at the end and a man came up who wanted prayer concerning his back and legs. Years ago this man had a work related accident which caused pain in his back and he was unable to feel in 2 of his toes. My friend Bob and I just laid it on him and after 2 or 3 times praying his back was completely healed and he was starting to feel sensation in his toes. Praise Jesus eh? It takes praying a few times sometimes but it is all worth it!
The next day I was speaking at a youth event with my friends in Calais Maine called Catalyst Generation. The week before I spoke I went into the meeting before it happened and got 2 words of knowledge. 1 Considering a person, dealing with serious headaches and a female dealing with major emotional damage done to her heart as death was spoken over her. As I was speaking and released these words of knowledge, a man responded to the word about the headaches and got healed and a young teenage girl responded to the word about the emotional damage to her heart and got delivered. As I was praying for the group after more words of knowledge came out and many more deliverance’s and heeling’s took place and many received hope planted back into their life! The man who got healed from the headaches came up for prayer later that night and got delivered from hopelessness and filled with Joy and refreshing and after that went to his youth camp the next week and testified of God healing him and I was told that many kids responded to that and came up at the youth camp for healing and prayer for their bodies! CONATGIOUS GLORY! On top of that. during the night I was speaking, a young man rededicated his life to Christ and wanted prayer for his wavering faith so he could run the race for the cause of Heaven!!!!
Last but not least- As most of you know, I operate with the Angelic realm and am quite comfortable with how we operate. Well the Angel that shows up with me always shows up on the left hand side of where I’m standing/ sitting. This has been confirmed and SEEN by others in various settings. One day while at work I was getting ready for lunch and changed out of my work clothes. Now I work with fish and fish feed and nothing to so with Feathers, plus our storage room for our work clothes is in a secluded blocked off room with nothing but walls and a concrete slab, and our regular work stations are inside away from any outside activity. So I changed shirts and nothing out of the ordinary happened, but as I went back to get changed I noticed there was this FEATHER stuck through my shirt. As I quickly looked over the room and my hanging space there was no trace of ANYTHING that could have produced a feather in the entire blocked off room which also was 20 to 30 feet away from my work station. As I looked over the shirt, the Feather appeared on the my left side, exactly where my Angel shows up when I minister. This Angel also helps tell me when Stress and Anxiety needs to be broken off of people. It’s also a manifestation of Psalm 91- Dwelling under the shadow of our Fathers Wings! What you all see here is a obviously a feather, but only any feather, but a sign.
See, since 2006/2007 these Angelic/ Heavenly feathers have been showing up in places where I work, minister in and when friends and I are just hanging out talking about the greatness of Jesus. We / I never asked for them to show up, but they show up as a sign of protection and the overshadowing of the Fathers love for His Children [check out Psalm 91], they also show up when I feel the Angelic are activated in a session or a room as proof of the Angelic host.
Well, this particular manifestation showed up at my friends house. Christian and Jessica Gowan [who are a wonderful couple] noticed the feather show up in the “Threshold” of their doorway going into their apartment. For those needing clarity, the threshold is where your door would close and latch into place to keep shut, well, this feather showed up underneath the door as it was in the threshold and noticed it as they were opening the door.
With a repeated check they could find nothing that could have made this particular feather show up. So I have been meditating on this and I really feel that the Father is lavishing His promises on us.
“You will be blessed wherever you go, both in coming and in going.” We as a people under Heaven and in the Kingdom are Blessed. Our houses are blessed, businesses are blessed and our families are blessed. We get so caught up as a people trying to achieve some place of favour when we need to know that all that we are is already blessed with Heaven’s favour. Psalm 91 say’s that no sickness or evil shall come near our DWELLINGS! Our thresholds have been made the stronghold of our Promises. Never doubt that our coming in and going out is protected and ensured for the favour of Heaven! Andrew
It appears to me that most of the Christian/ Faith believing groups that I am involved with have a very “Evolutionary” way of looking at how God is going to grow the awareness of His Kingdom. See, that’s the problem, we are relying on Him to do it, but He is relying on us to position ourselves with our created purpouse as we should.
In Matthew 5:13 Jesus calls us the Salt of the Earth, and in Matthew 5:14 He calls us the LIGHT of the world placed on a Hill which cannot be hidden, so here is my understanding;
God has created us and see’s us to be as effective as Jesus was and still is on Earth, the issue is simply this and it it’s best recorded in 1 Chronicles 21:24-
”No, I insist on paying what it is worth. I cannot take what is yours and give it to the LORD. I will not offer a burnt offering that has costme nothing!”
We have adopted this Church-ed understanding that God will bring all that we need and all we need to do is believe for it and it will happen. To some degree that is true but is a very elementary way of receiving growth in any area. Financially, emotionally, for any sort of possessions needed and / or for anything. If we want to reap, we must sow. The cost is growing and learning how to establish what we have properly to ensure the most productive growth as He instructs us by His Word and Spirit, Wisdom and Practical understanding.
If Joshua 1:3 stands true that every place we plant our foot, God will give us this land, and that land can be geographical, or any of the listed areas above, but I find that the breakdown of this understanding happens within the structure of the Local Church bodies.
“OH WE ARE EXPECTING AN OUTPOURING!!!!! I FEEL GOD STARTING TO MOVE, YES GOD FRESH ANOINTING!!! BRING YOU’RE REVIVAL!!!!!
They are great prayers and awesome words, but like a bad golfer, we often as the church have hardly any follow though. In order for God to pour out, He must have something[s] to pour into. We must be positioned to hold what God is wanting to pour into us as individuals and as corporate bodies. Papa won’t give us Millions if we can’t handle $5. Also, God won’t give and influx of Souls getting saved if we lack Wisdom on how to maintain and grow what He has already given us. Plus, if we don’t ESTABLISH and SUPPORT those in positions to help maintain proper growth and invest into the price of Structured Kingdom Growth in the Church, why ask for an Outpouring / Revival, we aren’t structure to handle even 1 convert.
God doesn’t just give us influx revelation or influx souls getting saved without us growing [paying the price to hold what He wants to give us] and trusting us with the moving of His Spirit. The moving of the Ghost [ Holy Spirit] is not cheap or flaunty but Holy and very delicate. If not held and moved with Gracefully and decently in order to grow the awareness of the Kingdom and see hearts healed not just to justify a Church, don’t ask for it. God is not wanting to have His name looked at as foolish on the account of our immaturity and lacked Wisdom about His Kingdom moving.
On a side note, God never moves His Spirit to separate Himself. If we SPLIT from a local body to “GROW” and do what Gods wants us to do, our mission has already failed. We cannot expect great growth while our life is birthed in Separation. If God needs us to be somewhere else, there will always be a manifested way to do it. If God moves and we are forced into exile to find a new home, that is different than just up and splitting from a group due to misunderstandings. Bridges of our Commissioning from a Church are to be built with love support and understanding, but burning bridges from un-reconciled issues only causes pain.
-So in closing, God search our hearts and help us to grow in favour with you and man as well so we can be a body that reflects you’re Kingdom. Give us Wisdom and Love and Understanding. We position ourselves to be filled Love so we can live our lives to grow your Kingdom and affect our local areas and our personal lives to grow in the Abundance of John 10:10-
Well by the term “From the Road” I really mean at a Starbucks in St. John, haa haa haaaa!
I’m just putting my feet up and reflecting on the day with a great Chai Latte after my last service of the day. It’s a great way to spend your time this life of Music. Besides teaching and mini sessions with various groups and a roster of 14-16 churches I am able to play in Internationally, I do a lot of driving and am able to just sit [obviously] and reflect and re-focus my musical life.
As much as I enjoy the groups that I play with and co-mingle with, I can’t help but think and wait for the day where I will be able to do this full time. I listen to the potential that some of these young people and groups that I play with have, and I get stirred with the potential that could come out of it, then at the end of the day we have to pack it all up and wait for another 40 minute session a week away to happen. Such a waste. To be filled with the gift of music and to have to wait to catch a Fresh Sound or to not have the support/ Time needed to facilitate working on a relevent sound is pretty much an offense to music itself.
Have you ever seen a sunset, sunrise, snowfall, Thunderstorm or some form of physical or environmental change that happens that you automatically think or hear a certain sound or song to it? the World is in constant motion with a sound and there are those around the globe that are just intune with it and to not have the means/ time to capture those feelings in a melody or rythym is sometimes literally heartbraking.
At times I get kinda down when I have to get up and head to work the next day when I know my existence craves and longs for the sound I feel running through my system. It’s almost like spending time with a great cherished friend or significant other and having to draw an end to a great time together and distance yourself from that great experience. Or like losing a loved one or being away from the one you love when the ability to create and tune our ears and skill to release a sound that captivates the ears, heart and emotions of those that hear it isn’t accessed.
I’ve played in many different settings, competitions,fundraisers and various gigs, parades, churches across Canada, the Maritimes, England in the States and so on and in some settings I’ve really hated to leave the group I played with and often am disappointed when the support to keep the movement going doesn’t come through, especially in the church circles.
I guess I’m still trying to work my way into the culture in which I am to belong to and influence, likewise have them influence and challenge me and the outcome will be beautiful and full of life- I just need to get there, but sometimes the support and understanding of the validity of this never shows up. Why?! We as a society, churched and un-churched have lost the value of investment and investing. Levites who can manifest sound into tangible feeling are forced to spend time in jobs and carreers that take life more than give life. This simply cannot be for much longer, it can’t last this way………….
Well I must get going on the road back to home, but for all my friends who who are pursuing and working out the sound they hear and feel, keep on working hard and keep it Kingdom and from Heaven, keep the inspiration constant, we will be doing this for a living soon enough! Burn Bright Guys!
For years I have struggled with the mental states that people have concerning their worth and what good they are to the existing realm we call society. I’m not 100% convinced that we are living and acting correctly, actually in all seriousness let’s be honest, if we lived out our lives as productively and accurately as we should, the amount of influential progress we would gain to stir people to live in greatness would be insane.
For those that may read this, yes I am a Christian loving Jesus and all the rest of it, and that’s 50% of my issue, well, not me being a Christian, but the reality that the Church truly teaches us the understanding that we are to be 100% weak and undeserving of ANYTHING WE GET! Honestly, I couldn’t believe it when I started working in the church circles how totally confident they were with words, but how little proof was in their lives. We sang songs about the GREATNESS of our God and how weak WE are then they wonder why their outreaches don’t work, their churches don’t grow and people give them no time. Well it’s very simple, we [the church] have lost the value of a life.
Some of the most beautiful moments in life are when we can laugh, cry, and invest into total strangers in the most practical ways. For those that read this, next time you are in a Gas Station, Coffee line, Grocery Store or any public place, try and find someone you can invest into [as in pay for their stuff] and see if they take it. We have been molded into the concept that Independency is what makes us strong and that can be nothing farther from the truth. We really have to live for the sake of letting the person in front of us know great they are and much they are loved.
Obviously in my way of living, I cannot give people that vote or truth of how much they are loved and how great they are unless I myself have received that. We cannot give that which we do not have. So for all my Faith Believing friends, get filled with that truth and go out and love people into their greatness, and for all who have never heard how amazing and beautiful you are and that you have unlimited potential, I greatly apologize. We should be about our purpose in building all up in this understanding of how amazing we are because that’s our created value. Weather you believe as I do or not, we are not accidents and the reason for out existence is to support, love, build up and live in the understanding that 1. Christ Loves us, unfailingly. And 2. To live from a point where we are confident in the fact that Loving one another is the best investment we can make. It is our best investment and the best way to re-establish the understanding that there is no greater love than to lay down your life for another. Giving time, finances, resources, prayers, friendship and the understanding that we are not a weak people. We have amazing potential, all things are possible and we MUST remind each other that we have AMAZING GLORIOUS FUTURES!
Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
You are all amazing People, You are loved Very Much! Praying you feel the Love of Father and see how much He means to you!
So hey all, thought I would throw some updates to encourage you with what the Fathers has been doing over the past few days!
It really all started on Saturday. I was in St. Stephen N.B. catching up with an old friend who is the area ministering in a church all weekend. I decided to go down and support what she was doing down there, and in the midst of her ministry time I really felt the atmosphere of the Angelic kicking up, but it really wasn’t my church so I just hushed myself and pacedback and forth and just prayed for the Angels to be released, and as a sign of what I was feeling, and Angelic feather manifested in the meeting[These often show up]. So picking the feather up I walked over to my friend who was ministering and showed her what had fallen as a confirmation to what I was feeling and then people started receiving gold dust showing up on them.
An account of one woman who had asked me to pray for her hand due to arthritis pain, [ this is after the she saw the feather manifest and my explanation of why it did], not only did the pain go down a noticeable amount but her right hand was starting to manifest with gold dust showing up spreading across her fingers as a sign of healing!
I loved it, and Praise Jesus for His promises!
So on Sunday I was ministering at my home church in St. John NB, a wonderful bunch of people who attend a group called Grace Harvest.
After the worship session people were already very intoxicatingly laughing and being filled with joy.
It was no different when I started speaking, we actually had one woman fall out of her seat onto the floor roaring in joyful bliss of the greatness of the Father.
People were open and ready for the Spirit to move, so the Father started giving me words of knowledge. These words got so intense, there was one point where I was going into people’s houses and hearing phone call conversations they were having with others, and parents worrying about their children, self worth issues, rejection and a whole other slew of areas where once the word of knowledge was released with laying hands on people, there was a mass release of peace and all of this bondage just fell off of people.
Deliverances were everywhere including-
Rejection
Abuse
Anxiety
Self image issues
Sexual, mental and substance abuse and a whole other pile of bondages-
There was also a man who had stumbled into our meeting who was in pretty bad shape physically and emotionally. This man ended up getting saved and received Christ. Come to find out that he was a drug seller in the city and is trying to get out that scene and is going to continue to attend as he can.
There were also grown men weeping as they were receiving the Fathers heart for their lives and feeling the affirmation of the Father.
Many others would just sit and weep due to the sweetness of the presence of the Father, Jesus was healing deep hurts and releasing sons and daughters to a level of love that was tangible and weighty in their hearts.
The Angelic Feathers showed up as well as a sign of them aiding in the ministry time.
It was a flooded time of impartation and re-activation of what the Father had released into His children, but what was lying dormant that has now been re-awakened!
It was an awesome time!
So please keep us [Grace Harvest] in your prayers as we all continue the work of expanding the Kingdom!
You know, I’m not going to lie to you, I get a kick out all of this “WARFARE” business we as the church claim to do. As much as I agree that we are in a war, this war must be waged on 2 plains, the Spiritual and Practical. If life and death truly are in the power of the tongue[Proverbs 18:21], then why must we “WAR” in the Spirit so much and let’s be honest, only walk by Faith in confessing that Christ is able, more than walking in Faith in knowing that it’s done and we simply need to release the Love of the Father.
Quite some time ago the Ghost [Holy Spirit] came to me and simply just said-
“Andrew, there are a ton of people that love to war, but never actually conquer anything or take ground. They just like to fight.”
That statement could never be more true. We can declare and speak forth and pray for a lot of things, but if we never base our walk of Faith off of results that Jesus said we would see, what’s the point?
Yes without Faith it is impossible to please God [Hebrews 11:6], but Faith without works is dead. Believe all we want, but as Romans Chapter 8 states, the whole of Creation is longing for the revealing of the Sons and Daughters God. Why? Sons and Daughter’s know their Father and are compelled to demonstrate love due to an encounter that has changed their life. Seeing as how we have been changed, we can release change. If we are only taught how to love by a churched mentality of operating, yes good things will happen, but we operate out of mandate, not an authentic genuine and experienced love to see the sick healed, broken hearted restored and physical matter changed and release people to tangibly encounter the Father.
I write this not to condemn or attack but to challenge. As much as I love demonstrations of power, our lives are more than that. A people knowing the heart of the Father and would rather have Relationship with the Father more than work a ministry like a business are needed right now. For if we have the heart of the Father, signs wonders and miracles will happen but won’t be the focal point, people knowing that words spoken in truth release much more power than prayers prayed out of functioned desperation. Idle words are not just empty, they either give life or death, if they aren’t filled with life, we are praying in vain due to the lack of life.
I was at a local church gathering a little while ago and I happened to walk by 2 friends who were ministering to a woman, and I thought-
“Man that woman is gonna get nailed with Jesus with those 2 praying for her.”
So I just kept walking but the Ghost told me that the Father was re-establishing her mental state of mind and releasing this woman from 30 years of emotional torment which was going to release her physical state to come back into alignment.
So I hung around until my 2 friends were wrapping up and introduced myself and told exactly what I heard the Father was doing with her.
As I told this woman the details of her life over the last 30 years she was jaw dropped. I didn’t pray for her, I didn’t lay hands on her, I didn’t even rebuke the powers of Darkness, I told her how the Father was loving on her. Remember, practical love always releases hope and understanding. Why didn’t I pray for her? The Ghost never told me to. They weren’t my words, they were from the Father for this woman. So I told this woman all that the Father was doing and she was so amazed at the details of her life that were starting to gain hope. She confirmed that all I had to say was bang on and 100% accurate. Hope came back into her life, and you could physically see her countenance change.
With my 2 friends speaking more truth into her life after I released what I had to, she gained more understanding of just resting in the Father’s perfect will.
So I was walking off and one of friends who was praying for the other woman stopped me and asked for prayer for this pain she had in her stomach, which she carried for quite some time. So I asked some friends to come and lay hands on her stomach and I just simply spoke to the pain, and released healing and blessings over her physical body. Within seconds this woman felt the presence of the Ghost, and said that the pain went down 50% and by the time we had done speaking life over her she said that the pain was barely noticeable at all. Like 90% to totally healed, the longer the moments went by, the more comfort came back into her body.
So I just said packed my stuff up and left. That was that.
See, words always create something. Prayer is not a type speech, it is simply communing with the Father but when we go to speak, if we aren’t hearing from the Father, who are we hearing from? If the Ghost always leads us in the truth, and Jesus is the way truth and the life, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom, why do we spend so much time warring over areas of life that just need a touch from the Love of the Father.
So I encourage you today all who read this, we have been created to change physical matter, not just be quoter’s of great words for mans approval and to challenge you, when in your time with the Father, close your bible, shut the music off, and wait. Wait until the Father moves on you in such a way that changes you as HE knows you need. From that experience on, loving those around us will become a joy to do, and releasing the love that changes lives in any way shape or form needed will happen because we act out of the Heart of God’s practical love. The kind of love that lets people know, Jesus is truly alive…….
So I’ve been in some thought and observation throughout my travels over the past 9 years and have grown a lot in these times.
With the blessing of being able to travel and be a part of a home church and also invest in the lives of those in my own country and internationally, there is a recurring theme that I see happening and it is always found within the confines of “Power.”
I for one, 100% agree that the present day church must walk and be able to display power from Heaven through the enabling of Holy Spirit. I have been in sessions with such groups where amazing things have happened and God has undeniably changed lives and physical bodies.
Within these events though, I could not solely take into account the validity of manifested “POWER” being the evidence of a proper relationship with the Father. We as the modern church MUST understand that Signs Wonders and Miracles are needed yes, but do not to the extent of that being our only understanding of Jesus.
As Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
For our salvation is not proven by a displaying of Power alone but simply knowing the Father and allowing Him to change us into a people He recognizes. If we abide in the Father at all times, signs and wonders will ALWAYS show up, but importantly than that, people will encounter a tangible understanding of the Father and we as the Bride will be able to plug them into the places needed [to the best of our abilities] to continue their new walk.
It is said that Jesus grew in favour with God and Man so He wasn’t just pulling off signs and wonders all the time, but was relational enough to build relationships with people, and with the Wisdom and Character of the Father change lives by His simple presence and lifestyle, not just signs and wonders.
What concerns me is simply this. Due to the validity of the healings and manifestations of Heaven that show up, we as the body tend to think much like the Prophet Elijah did when He got called up to Mount Horeb; “I am the only one which has not bowed their knee to Baal!” Which the Father let him know that there was thousands that haven’t bowed their knee, and he wasn’t the only one still remaining.
Unknowingly, many believers within some of these churches begin to take on the territorial view that THEIR church is going to bring the power of God the city or region, or that THEIR church isn’t religious and that THEIR church is the one that will be THE FROERUNNER for the city. Which hey, if is happening, great, but we must be careful, if we spend too much time defending and justifying a Ministry or church, we simply have made a local church or body and Idol. If all our time is focused on making sure a church is noticed, we have missed the concept of Heaven [and those doing so could actually fall away from the Truth which could be devastating] . The Father will draw all men to Himself, as Long as HE is lifted up, not a Pastor, body or Ministry.
The Tower of Babel.
The Tower of Babel was a man made structure that resembled a Pyramid, otherwise known as a Zigguratwhich stood 300 feet tall and the same in width and was the focal point of city. It was a constructed monument to be a shrine for mankind and what they/ we could do. We all know that the Tower of Babel was used so that the Babylonians at the time could rise to the Heavens and show the world that together they could be more than or equal to God which is why God confused their language and birthed “confusion” out of them stopping the work due to misunderstanding scattering them across the earth.
Funnily enough, the modern day church can act in some similar ways with our own bodies. Instead of being mindful of the local community based churches and unify by the Holy Spirit and show true unity and drop our titles and our own achievements, we together could have an entire nation changed within months.
A move of God is not hard to start, Jesus did it with one word of knowledge and changed an entire city in days through the life of an adulterous woman at a well. Yet, He had the Heavenly Character and trust with the Father to do so, and wasn’t boasting in Himself. See, Jesus wasn’t looking to start a movement, or read someone’s life to this woman, He actually was tired and hungry but fed off doing the will of the Father to change 1 life, resulting in a mass influx of revelation being brought to an entire city. So they could be one with the Father as He is [John 17:23] which is what holds us in the Fathers heart. Who’s we are, not what we do.
So please, let us not be boastful of any one thing but that which is eternal, Jesus. We are not right, displaying power does not make us right nor justified to cast judgement upon our brothers and sisters because “They are religious”, but where we dwell in unity is where the blessings are demanded to be shown by God [Psalms 133]. Unity in love and seeing each other preferring each other be highly esteemed more than ourselves shows that we have the Fathers heart, the true power = the Love of the Father in Sacrifice, not just hype and one shot Glory trips.
We have nothing to prove, we have no rights besides the Kingdom, defending a ministry won’t get you saved, aiding the body being the influence in society as it once was and is becoming again counts on helping stay inside the sheepfold, but OUR churches cannot do this on our own.
But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or housedivided against itself will not stand.
So let’s be wise and know that not one church alone is right, but we must display the Kingdom with the Character of the Father, Decency and Order so that the body/ bodies may work according to the leading of the Holy Spirit and with Power to change lives and be hung up on being noticed or known or “Right” but being effective in love to make Jesus known, not our ministry.
After all, The Love of Christ is enough to change any life or area, let’s show it with pure hearts.

3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Hey to all that may be just checking this out, just some thoughts from the road I thought I may share about the past few weeks of the happenings in my life and some things I’ve been seeing.
It’s a great privilege to be in the point of my life that I’m in. I’ve graduated from the year’s course that I took down in NBCC St.Andrews and am currently employed at a local Drug Store taking over their POS computer system, which I might add I have absolutely no training or background in, but I’m blessed to be there for sure. Even though I’m currently employed, I have been involved with 9 years of fulltime ministry. Although unpaid, the one aspect I have learned is that you truly find out what is in our hearts when we have nothing to gain monetarily from our actions. There is nothing better in this life besides living with and knowing the Father than investing and supporting people in what they feel the Father calling them to and facilitating their dreams happening. A giving of oneself to benefit another.
During all the hustle and bustle over the past 2 years I have found a more concrete understanding of the reason behind my existence. My sphere of being able to influence has really opened up and I have been graced to help a lot of young adults come to understand the potential that’s on them, and also to help those that are already in the understanding of their calling but just need support in walking it out.
This is where the title of this little blurb comes into play. As it seems, many of those that I know and am close with are in a stage where they are embarking on their walk with the Father to where they need to go. I am so proud and blessed to see the choices and sacrifice[s] that my close friends are and have made. Some are leaving/ have left families behind; some are causing their relationships and friendships to be strained due to the distance that these callings and lifestyles will take on them. I have never been so proud of my friends in all my life. Across the denominational lines, Baptist, Anglican, Wesleyan, Pentecostal and even the Independants and so on, have picked up what seems to be a fulfilling state in life but not a popular one, but onward they go.
The greatest aspect of walking out one’s calling is the support that comes with it. It is much like a swimming pool, there are those that swim and have a time of getting into the water head first, but then there are the diving boards. They don’t move, they don’t crack and break, they simply, and ever so gracefully catapult those who use them into their desired direction.
Now within saying this, this is more of a reflection of my life at the moment. I have been so pumped to help my friends emotionally, financially, spiritually and in many other ways to help them reach the potential that is in their heart. Sometimes we need to have a heart to heart with those we love to make sure all bases are covered before they move forward with their call and other times we need to help in the fundraising for a close friend and other various functions we may do, but overall I think Jesus says it best-
Greater love has no one than this, than to laydown one’s life for his friends
Once we can past what is going to come back to us in giving our money, time and energy to help our friends, we must understand that we don’t need anything back. The giving of our lives is to truly benefit the purposed calling of those we love, and it does not always need to be the finances alone, simply just walking along side those we love helping them get to where they feel the Father leading them is support enough.
Sadly enough, helping those reach their potential can leave us in a very lonely stage. Most of those that are walking their walk out with Papa, are moving on to different locations globally which is solid for the kingdom, but we must grasp the beauty of sacrifice and the letting go what we hold dear and know that as much as the pain of separation is relevant, our lives are not our own, and we must pursue our call as each needs to.
So as much as it fills me with joy to see friends excel in all that they are moving toward, we must ask ourselves how we are to be the support that those around us need. Not even asked for, just simply meeting needs over and above the call of duty to invest in lives that will change lives for eternity. Is it worth the pain of separation to take up the call to invest all you have to help raise someone up knowing that you may never see that person again? Of course, for we have the promise being with each other in Heaven, so there is no true separation.
So closing thoughts, weather we find ourselves as diving boards, used to help propel those into their desired calling, or if we are the ones being catapulted into great unknown, we have this peace knowing that no matter what stage we are in, lives will be changed and the Kingdom of the Father will be expanded, and these fleeting moments of pain and emotional discomfort will be forgotten as the greatness of our existence pours out to change this hopeless world with the Beauty of Heaven.
